Akkoy is a quiet and authentic mountain
village, located about 11 km from Urgup, the tourism centre of
Cappadocia. In the village you will meet local farmers, who live like
500 years ago. Also in Akkoy you can find some old cave dwellings , churches and monasteries when you walk through the old part of the village. The main transportation is done with donkeys, but here and there you see also small tractors. |
